Max Stoiber
DEVELOPMENT

BIO
Max is an International Politics major in the School of Foreign Service and hails from Munich , Germany . Before finding his reckoning at Georgetown , Max underwent the rigors of British boarding school, which has left him scarred with overbearing sarcasm and a particular affinity for the French.

Aside from his passion for basketball, Indian food, ridiculously complex Asian languages and most recently frozen yoghurt, Max enjoys travelling to far corners of the globe, exploring the wonders of Wisemillers Deli and discussing everything from European beer-expansionism to Bismarck 's anti-catholic domestic policies. He is currently residing in McCarthy Hall, where you can find him indulging in the newest episode of Lost, practicing his beer-pong wrist flick, or working on his soft melodic timbre on the fourth floor. He looks forward to a wonderful and exciting year with the IRC.

MESSAGE
Hi everyone. The post of Director of Development gives me the opportunity to combine the fantastic breadth of intelligence within the current membership with the extensive alumni network that the International Relations Club can boast.

I would like to exploit the experience that many IRC alumni have, so that students can employ their services and put that advice to good use. I hope to also be able to organize a series of events that will take students outside of campus and into Washington DC , including embassy visits, think tank tours and panel discussion. Washington has so much to offer, and we should make it our goal to explore as much as we can.

Lastly, I believe it is imperative that the IRC contributes to charitable efforts around campus and involves itself with the vast array of cultural and international events. I salute the ambition of this year's board and will do my best to realize the many goals we have set out.
