Small Delegation, Big Win — CHOMUN 2009

4-chomun-courtesy-eric-guo-chicago-maroonThe Georgetown Model UN team traveled on the weekend of April 9-12 to Chicago, Il., for the last trip of the year to debate at Chicago Model United Nations Conference (ChoMUN), one of the most difficult conferences on the Model UN circuit.

However, the team prevailed once more, winning the Best Small Delegation award — an award that perhaps undermines the performance put on by Georgetown, the Best Large School, Harvard, won less individual awards.

Each team member’s contribution was vital for the final outcome, capping a stellar year in which Georgetown won a school award in each conference it attended. Congratulations to the team!
