Trick-or-Treating with the IRC on Embassy Row!

Halloween

Last Friday, October 30, IRC members and numerous of other Georgetown students headed up to the Dupont area for a Georgetown tradition: trick-or-treating at your favorite foreign nation’s embassy. Crowded bus after crowded bus shuttled students up north to a designated list of embassies (though many students tried their luck at plenty of others, with mixed success). The fan favorite was pretty clear: South Korea’s “Korus House,” an informational/cultural building, was filled with authentic South Korean candy, incredibly enthusiastic attendants,  and a photo op with a woman wearing an authentic Korean dress costing tens of thousands of dollars.
