Hoyas Win Best Large Delegation at UPMUNC!

35 of the IRC members traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania this past weekend to participate in UPMUNC 2009, taking home the award of Best Large Delegation for the first time in two years. This was truly a team effort, given that 8 team members were awarded with Best Delegate and Georgetown was recognized on every single committee on which it was represented. Given the tremendous quality of the other teams at the conference and possibly the most difficult level of competition of any conference attended by Georgetown, this was an impressive feat.


Georgetown won the following individual awards:
